SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025

The 2025 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with La Santa Cecilia to kick off its 25th Anniversary Season.

Devoted to the swirling breakneck rhythms, dense harmonies and ecstatic sound of Balkan brass music, Inspector Gadje unites a community of musicians who have engaged deeply with the Roma people of southeastern Europe.

Featuring a bevy of highly skilled horn players and two percussionists delivering soaring melodies and fierce, off-kilter grooves gleaned directly from master Roma musicians, the ensemble is known for transforming night clubs, weddings, street festivals and concert halls into uproarious celebrations.
