Event Details

Come hear six Burning Man theme camp and village leaders tell true tales of horror about what it takes to build a successful mini metropolis in the desert.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

As village leaders, these speakers have experienced it all, from massive gifting to surviving mutinous campers, and from love on the playa to dealing with raids by the police. A brief Q&A will follow the talks with an opportunity for more questions during their regular meet and greet part of the evening.

You’ll gather upstairs in the old Oakland Chinatown banquet hall. If you’re hungry, bring along your wallet as it’s held in a restaurant with surprisingly good, inexpensive food.
