Phil’s performances at The 2008 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal brought him international acclaim. His jokes were recognized in the Montreal Gazette’s annual “Best jokes of the Festival”. He was also named one of the five comics creating a buzz at the festival by The Hollywood Reporter and rewarded with a featured segment on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
He has also appeared at the Halifax Comedy Festival, Global’s Vancouver International Comedy Fest, XFM satellite radio, and his own television special on CTV and Comedy Network – he also won the 2007 “Vancouver’s Funniest comic” competition.
