Cars on NYE Banned from Twin Peaks, Marina Green, Stern Grove & Ocean Beach

San Francisco is closing the following park features for New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2020.
- Ocean Beach parking lot (closes at 5 a.m. on December 31)
- Marina Green parking lots (closes at 6 p.m. on December 31)
- Stern Grove parking lot (closes at 6 p.m. on December 31)
These park features will reopen and resume normal operations on January 1, 2021 beginning at 5 a.m.
The gate to Twin Peaks off of Portola Drive will remain closed to vehicle traffic for the evening of December 31 as well. The Twin Peaks Portola gate will resume opening to vehicle traffic in the evenings at 6 p.m.
In addition to turning off the #GGP holiday light installations, we will be closing the following park features for #NewYearsEve
Ocean Beach parking lot – closes at 5AM on 12/31
Marina Green parking lots – closes at 6PM on 12/31
