2011 Festival of Choirs & Flowers | SF

On the final day of the 2011 Cathedral Festival of Flowers, be entertained by the Archdiocesan “Festival of Choirs” on Sunday October 2, 2011 at 4pm. The musical event features parish choirs from all over San Francisco. The amazing flower displays will be viewable throughout the Cathedral until 6pm.

About the Festival of Flowers: The array of magnificent floral displays reflect both the splendor of the great bronzes by Italian sculptors, Enrico Manfrini and Mario Rudelli, and the great soaring nineteen story interior.  A kaleidoscope of colors meets visitors from the first moment that they enter the great Cathedral doors until they leave.

All floral exhibits are free and open to the public
– Friday 9/30 – 9am to 7:pm
– Saturday 10/1 – 9am to 7:30pm
– Sunday 10/2 – 8:30am to 6pm
(Please note the exhibits may not be available for viewing during times of services)

The Festival will conclude with a “Festival of Choirs,” on Sunday afternoon, October 2 at 4 p.m., in the Cathedral Church. The concert is free of charge, but donations will be accepted.
