Since 1998, Celebrate People’s History posters have documented feminist organizers, indigenous uprisings, civil rights leaders, union struggles, LGBT activism and much more.
The Feminist Press has just released a book of over 100 of these posters in hardback.
CELEBRATE PEOPLE’S HISTORY: the Poster Book of Resistance and Revolution

This event is the West Coast premiere of the new book. It includes a poster exhibit, book signing by Bay Area contributors and artist panel. There’ll be featured speakers: graphic designer Sabiha Basrai & poster historian Lincoln Cushing.
FREE admission. Donations go to author Josh MacPhee and his partner who is battling cancer.
