The Golden Gate Park Band, under the direction of Michael L. Wirgler, presents the 134th season in Golden Gate Park’s music concourse.
The weekly concerts take place most Sundays at 1 pm and are free and open to the public. All concerts feature music of specific nationalities or cultures, including costumed guest performances from dancers, singers and speakers, who will enlighten and entertain.
On June 11 and 12, 2016 it’s the annual Golden Gate Park Band Festival with back-to-back concerts from 11am to 5pm from civic bands from all over California.
