2013 Greek Parade & Festival

The 2013 Hellenic Cultural Parade on Sunday, April 7, 2013 celebrates the 192nd anniversary of Greek Independence Day (when they battled the Ottoman Empire) with a day of Greek food, music and dancing.

You’ll see paraders march down Market Street dressed in the clothing of Greek freedom fighters from the early 19th century, as well as others reveling in their Greek cultural roots.

Parade Route: 5th and Market Streets to City Hall
Mini Festival: Civic Center Plaza

In addition to the parade, there will be a mini cultural festival from 12-6 pm in Civic Center Plaza with Greek Music, Greek food (for purchase), and a mini Greek Folk Dance Competition.

The parade begins at 2:30 pm at Market & 5th Streets and march to Civic Center Plaza.
