The 2015 Santa Skivvies Run
The Santa Skivvies Run is a festive romp through the Castro benefiting San Francisco AIDS Foundation when you can watch hundreds of bods drop trou, don Santa hats and reindeer antlers and help raise funds to support the free and local services of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
Although it costs upwards of $50 to register to run, it’s free to watch the undie parade of runners as a spectator.

FREE to watch; $50 to participateIn 2015, the event returns to its original home in the Castro with a later start time. In just five short years, Santa Skivvies Run has become one of the city’s most beloved holiday events.
2015 Route
They’ll start outside the Lookout in the heart of the Castro. From there, it is 1.5 miles around the Castro, ending where they started.Everyone is welcome to participate: Naughty or nice, young or old, fresh-faced newbie or long-time Skivvies veteran. Don we now our gay apparel, a favorite festive costume, or strip down to your undies to raise awareness and fight HIV/AIDS in our community. Registration is $50-75. Fundraising is optional.
Participant Check-in & Start Time
- 9 am – Check In opens outside the Lookout, 3600 16th St, San Francisco
- 10:15 am – All Participants must be checked in
- 10:30 am – The run begins
Each runner receives their own personal fundraising page and access to online fundraising tools. Fundraising is optional, but each runner is encouraged to help San Francisco AIDS Foundation provide much-needed funding for its free HIV testing, prevention, and support services.
Santa Skivvies Block Party
Once you cross the finish line, continue the fun. Everyone meets at Santa’s Village on Noe Street (between Market and Beaver Street) for a lineup of performances, awards, and contests. Santa’s Village will be open from 9AM – Noon.Photo Credit: CrossFit San Francisco
