SF Threatens Arrests on 420 in Golden Gate Park

Thanks to SF Gate for letting us know that Mayor London Breed’s had tough words for anyone planning to come to San Francisco and go to Hippie Hill on 420.

As we all know, due to the ongoing concerns around COVID-19 The 420 Hippie Hill celebration on April 20th, 2020 in Golden Gate Park has been canceled.

Mayor London Breed delivered a stern message on her press conference on Monday.

We will not tolerate anyone coming to San Francisco for 4/20 this year.
Do not come to San Francisco to celebrate. We will cite people. We will arrest people if necessary.
Order food. Watch Netflix. Stay home and stay safe. 

It’s a bummer not to be able celebrate a yearly tradition such as 4/20 outside with everyone. But let’s all be responsible and do our part to minimize social gatherings and the potential spread of this virus in the community. Smoke a fatty at home this year.
