As if you needed a reason to head to sunny and scenic Golden Gate Park, Top 40 radio station Alice @ 97.3 offers up a free concert on June 24, 2012 featuring Adam Lambert, Scars On 45, Rebecca Ferguson, Vicci Martinez and Britain’s Graffiti6.

- The DoggieThing is where you take your hound to get some free water and treats.
- The ArtThing is where you get a free Summerthing poster, with art supplies around to color it in as you please.
- The SmileThing is where you immortalize the day by getting your mug shot for free.
- For those extra-special few, there’s a VIPThing: a shaded tent with free lunch, free wine and placed right next to the stage. And you even meet one of the bands. The only way to get in, however, is to listen to Alice @ 97.3 over the coming weeks to win a laminate pass. It’s a time investment but it seems worth it.
Getting There: Parking in the area is limited so it’s best to ride the 5-Fulton to 30th Avenue or the N-Judah to 34th Avenue, or ride a bike.
