Thanks to SFGATE for letting us know about the new alt-rock radio station in the Bay Area helmed by many former KFOG staffers.
Helping replace the void after KFOG left the Bay Area airwaves, a new radio station emerged a few weeks ago and broadcasts on the HD2 signals of 96.5 and 98.5 along with on the Radio.com app. But the main focus is streaming on Highway1Radio.com
Highway 1, the New Bay Area radio station that plays a blend of adult alternative music that sounds different. Listen to R.E.M. from the 80’s, Alanis from the 90’s, Coldplay from the 00’s, Lumineers from Today and New Music Discovery from tomorrow.
