Shanghai Kelly’s March Madness Pool
For years, local dive bars Shanghai Kelly’s and Northstar have run a free NCAA tournament pool. Exact details and log in information will be announced on Monday March 14th, but if past years are any indication, prizes will include $100 gift cards and local restaurants as well as bar credits at both Shanghai Kelly’s and Northstar plus get your name inscribed on the Kelly’s trophy as the “Most Smartest Hoops Jenius.”
FuncheapSF’s 1st Annual March Madness Pool
Limited to 400 entries, Funcheap is hosting their very first NCAA March Madness pool (in honor of USC making it into the tournament… barely – that’s Johnny Funcheap’s alum). Prizes will be announced on Wednesday, but expect a healthy amount of gift certificates at great local businesses.
ESPN’s Tournament Challenge
This is a nationwide bracket, so your chances of winning out of the millions of entries are practically zilch, but it’s free to enter and you could win $10,000 for first place or $5,000 for second place. Plus ESPN has a handy Bracket Bound app for both iPhone and Android for you to follow along on the road.
Win a Free Pizza Party with Patxi’s NCAA Pool
Patxi’s, the maker of super tasty deep dish Chicago-style pizzas is putting on a bracket where the winner gets a pizza party for you and a group of your friends (three complimentary pizzas plus salads). The only catch is that brackets are due by Tuesday March 15th and must be turned in in person at any Patxi’s location (sorry – you can’t submit online.)
