“Black Lives Matter” Horse Ride on Oakland’s Skyline Trail
Thanks to KPIX5 for letting us know about the Black Lives Matter Horse ride that was held along Oakland’s Skyline Trail on Saturday.
On June 20, hundreds of horse riders raised their fists, observed a moment of silence, and rode along the iconic Skyline Trail in Oakland in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
The mission dubbed “Heels Down, Fists Up” was organized by Brianna Noble, whose viral photo of her riding a horse down Broadway during a Black Lives Matter protest in Downtown Oakland gained international attention.
