A huge daytime costume party, the Castro Street Fair is once again filling the streets of the Castro with several stages of entertainment, unique costumes, art, and food.

Bring a little of your inner freak to the festivities and experience a full day of live music, strange performances, and live DJs.

The fair is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro District, on 18th street between Castro and Collingwood and the surrounding area. The Castro Street Fair is a community street celebration that was founded by Harvey Milk in 1974.

Hundreds of local artists, vendors, craftspeople, and organizations line the streets and celebrate the diversity of the neighborhood. Stages with live entertainment and dance stages can be found throughout the fairgrounds.

Dolores Flow

In 2018, the Fair is proud to feature roaming performances from the local collective Dolores Flow. Keep an eye out for their flagging, hooping, and smiles at locations throughout the Fair!
