Come celebrate the 1-year anniversary of Oakland’s first Rainbow Crosswalks, along with Oakland Pride & our amazing Upper Telegraph community.

There will be Queer First Fridays DJs and Dance Party, Drag shows, food, drinks and more. And although there’s still a long road ahead, this event also celebrates that the City of Oakland has agreed in principle to repaint the volunteer-created rainbow crosswalks, with a plan to permit permanent crosswalks.

These crosswalks are right in front of White Horse Bar, the oldest gay bar in America.
