The Contemporary Jewish Museum turns 10 on Jesse Square. Join in and celebrate community with live music, gallery performances, art-making, and more.

In addition to free admission to the museum, they’ll be hosting free activities all day.

11 am–4 pm
Make, Write, Or Relax – Activities in collaboration with Blick Arts, SF Center For the Book, and artist C.K. Itamura

  • Add threads to the Collaborative Family Journeys Globes as you enter The Museum
  • Illuminate your family tree in the Blue Cube (a keepsake)
  • Letterpress three-color conversation journals in the Art Studio
  • Create letters to loved ones at the typewriter station in the Koret Taube Grand Lobby
  • …and more

The Calming Corner – Relax, read, or play in a quiet and less-crowded space anytime throughout the day.

Music and Dance Performances – Musicians and dancers bring The CJM’s architecture to life

Readings, Talks, and Tours
Mini tours and poets in the galleries throughout the day

Tours: Long-time CJM docents share pop-up mini tours with insights into their favorite works of art or architectural elements, from 11:30 am–1:30 pm.
