Easter 2013

Wacky parades, 10,000 egg hunts, sunrise services and “hunky jesus” contests

San Francisco just can’t seem to do anything normal. And that’s the way we like it!

Sure, for 2013 you can attend the traditional egg hunts and sunrise services atop a mountain, but our city just needs to do some things a bit different – with a wacky Easter parade on Union Street, an “Easter vs. Science” photo hunt.

And don’t forget the biggest event of all, the drag queen nun collective Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence‘s “Hunky Jesus” contest and irreverent Easter celebration in Dolores Park.

So have a happy Easter, San Francisco… whichever way you swing!
