Experience an evening of four floors of live painting, performance artists, carnival acts, dancers, musicians, and spoken word along with a design bazaar of 25 vendors at F3 at the Cotton Mill’s next Friday night art event and open studios entitled, “Sideshow.”

F3 is a compendium of art, design, and all types of craftsmanship to be presented by the residents of the historic Cotton Mill Studios. Open Artists studios are features all throughout and around the building.

  • The fourth floor features our artists’ galleries.
  • The third floor features our twice/night fashion show.
  • The second floor hosts a design bazaar
  • The first floor has multiple food options and F3 stuff for sale.

Attendees will get an exclusive glimpse at the diverse artists that claim The Cotton Mill as their home. Sculpture, painting, photography, metalwork, perfume, jewelry design, and woodworking are among the variety of arts represented at the Mill.

Art Gallery and Champagne Room
Treat yourself to a glass of bubbly (we’re not sure if it’s free) while you browse the gallery full of work from talented resident and guest artists.

Sideshow
Prepare to be amazed at the first ever sideshow. Expect carnival acts, live painting, burlesque, pole dancing, and more.

Design Bazaar
The eclectic marketplace will showcase 25 vendors, selling everything from fine art to handmade clothing and collectibles.

The Cotton Mill Theater
7pm – Fallen Angels (for 40 minutes)
8pm – The Five Deadly Improvisers. (for 40 minutes)

Refreshments and Tiki Bar
Hungry? Head downstairs to grab a drink at the tiki bar and chow down on gourmet dishes from local food trucks.

Free Shuttle from Fruitvale BART
The pickup location is west of the Fruitvale BART station entrance, less than 400 feet away. There you will find a sign showing you exactly where the stop is. You should see a shuttle with the F3 logo on the side, waiting to take you right to the show. Rides are free and arrive every 15 minutes between 6pm to 11pm.
