Farallon Restaurant Permanently Closed After 23 Years
In case you missed it, sad news from SFGATE, Farallon Restaurant will close permanently.
Farallon Restaurant is a well-known upscale seafood restaurant in San Francisco. Famous for their raw bar, long wine list & undersea-themed decor like jellyfish lamps and a hand-painted dome ceiling that once covered a swimming pool.
On March 18th, the restaurant posted on its website and social media account that they are temporarily closing due to the citywide shelter in place order. Unfortunately, after 23 years the famed restaurants will be permanently closed. Employees were emailed with the pandemic as the main reason for the closure.
The restaurant’s final message on their website says, “We can only hope that you and your loved ones will remain safe through this crisis and that we will once again have the opportunity to celebrate together.”
