Free Awesome Ice Cream Sandwich Day

CREAM (which translates to “Cookies Rule Everything Around Me”) makes super tasty ice cream sandwiches on freshly-baked homemade cookies.

They’ve got shops all over the Bay Area and now are opening up one finally in San Francisco. And to celebrate the grand opening, they’ll be giving away free ice cream sandwiches all day, from noon to 8 pm, at their new Mission District location.

These creamy sandos can be custom-made on the spot to your whim. Choose your favorite ice cream flavor and cookie (or even a different flavor cookie on the top and bottom), roll it in the sprinkles and you’re set.

Check out the menu and dream up your favorite frankenstein-monster combination of ice cream and cookie to make your sandwich. We’re thinking about Cinnamon Chill ice cream on a double chocolate chip cookie.
