Whole Foods To Give Free Face Masks To All Shoppers
Thank you, Nexstar for letting us know that Whole Foods Markets across the country will provide free masks to all customers starting next week – along with requiring customers to wear masks.
Amazon-owned Whole Foods announced on their blog on April 30, “To help protect the safety and health of our Team Members, customers, and communities, we will be offering free, disposable masks to all Whole Foods Market customers.”
They will provide free disposable masks to all customers at store entrances starting next week. Customers are required to wear masks while shopping.
The company is expected to invest more than $800 million in the first half of the year on COVID-19 safety measures through purchasing items like masks, hand sanitizer, thermal cameras, thermometers, sanitizing wipes, gloves, additional handwashing stations, and adding disinfectant spraying in buildings, procuring COVID testing supplies, additional janitorial teams, and more.
