Neighborhood Free Days
For the weekend of May 11-13, 2012, the California Academy of Sciences offers free admission to residents of neighborhoods like the Richmond, Nob Hill, Marina, North Beach and more thanks to the Academy’s bi-annual Neighborhood Free Days program.
Each neighborhood, defined by zip codes, will have opportunities to visit the Academy for free over a three-day weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) in the spring, and again in the fall.
So that means as long as you have a driver’s license or other proof of residency you can save yourself $29.95 and visit the museum for free!
