Take a peek inside a historic Victorian transformed into a Haunted Mansion with elaborate set design, including a huge two-story pirate ship, a working waterfall, a cave, and replicas of props and set pieces from the movie The Goonies.

The Haunted Mansion is an art house in Oakland that specializes in putting on themed parties and events. For the first time ever, they are opening up their home on Halloween night to the community to share the large scale movie quality set designs and completely decorated themed home.

The Haunted Mansion | 1044 East 19th S, Oakland, CA
Donations Accepted

This is not a “scary” haunted house type event. The sets are about being authentic in recreating experiences inspired by eras or movies. Dressing up is encouraged and please come with cameras in hand.

The 2014 production is a fundraiser to help continue building these massive high quality art projects and make essential repairs to the home, the place where all the magic happens. Entry donations will be taken at the front door – $5, $10… $10,000 dollars? It’s all graciously accepted in showing that you appreciated their hard work and efforts in creating something unique in the community.
