The State of California honors the memory of Harvey Milk by celebrating May 22, Milk’s birthday, as a statewide “day of special significance.”

FREEIn honor of Harvey Milk Day, which is this Thursday, May 22 (Milk’s birthday), The GLBT History Museum will offer free admission and docent-led tours every hour on the hour. The Museum will be open regular hours that day: 11 am to 7 pm.
Enjoy hourly docent-led tours, see new exhibition “Queer Past Becomes Present,” the new exhibition in the museum’s newly-remodeled Main Gallery, which includes a display about Milk’s assassination. Queer Past Becomes Present is the first entirely new exhibition in the Main Gallery since the museum opened in 2011.
