Join the Bay Area’s “Lights for Liberty” Vigil
Be a light for liberty and for refugees. On Friday, July 12, 2019, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps, will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.
At most events, you are requested to bring flashlights, any other light-up and creative form of expression to the vigil. Please check the details for your specific event if they are requesting you bring candles.
As of July 11 there were 780+ worldwide vigils scheduled including 30 vigils in the Bay Area.
