Join SF’s Massive “Cheer” for 2020 Graduating Seniors at 8pm
Thank you SF Gate for letting us know that we can all join in a mass cheer for graduating seniors on Tuesday in San Francisco.
Yell! Clap! Honk! Blast! Holler! Drum! Join the 2020 Grad Cheer for San Francisco Graduates! A Citywide Cheer to celebrate the Class of 2020, organized by The San Francisco Unified School District, San Francisco State University, and other educational institutions.
All San Francisco residents are invited to join in at 8pm on June 2nd, open your windows or stand outside your home for 1 minute of cheering, noisemaking, and pomp and circumstance for all of San Francisco’s 2020 graduates. Learn More.
You may also tune in to KALW FM 91.7 Radio wherein they will play the traditional Pomp and Circumstance graduation song so people can and play it while cheering.
SF City Hall and other SF landmarks will light up gold to represent the tassel on the graduate cap.
Let’s show them how proud of them we are, given they never got a real graduation this year.
Grads, we’re so proud of you! Help us make some noise! We’re asking you to recognize the thousands of 2020 graduates — from SF State to schools throughout the city — and cheer them on, because they deserve it. Start making noise Tuesday, June 2, at 8. p.m. #SFGradCheer #SFSU2020 pic.twitter.com/PKy4vAxn7B
