Major Banks Waive Mortgage Payments for 90 Days
Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi and U.S. Bank give CA homeowners a break for three months

In the past few weeks, renters have gotten waivers to help them delay their rent payments. This week, the major banks jumped in to help California homeowners with their mortgages.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced at a press conference that homeowners in California who pay mortgages to JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi, or US Bank will receive a 90-day waiver on residential mortgage payments.
About 200 of the state’s charter banks and credit unions will also issue waivers for 90 days. Bank of America also joined in, but only committed to a 30-day waiver.
