Celebrate National Grilled Cheese Day 2015 at this one-day-only event with a bevy of food trucks serving up their unique versions of Grilled Cheese sandwiches at SoMa StrEat Food Park on Sunday, April 12, 2015.

Wash it all down with beer ($3 PBR) and bottomless Mimosas throughout the event. We’ll also be offering an exclusive tasting ticket allowing you to try a Grilled Cheese from several trucks and cast your vote to decide on San Francisco’s best Grilled Cheese!

– Get 5 Grilled Cheese samples (1/2 a sandwich) and a PBR or soft drink
– Sample a variety of inventive Grilled Cheeses and cast your vote for the Best Grilled Cheese in San Francisco!
– Participating Trucks: American Grilled Cheese Kitchen, The Grilled Cheez Guy, Grilled Cheese Bandits, Adam’s Grub Truck, Bacon Bacon, Me So Hungry, Seoul of Taipei and Euro Bistros!

Grilled Cheese Day Food Trucks:
Each food truck is making and selling their own spin on a Grilled Cheese sandwich.

  • American Grilled Cheese Kitchen: Truffles, Bacon n Chive Grilled Cheese with Boschetto al Tartufo (Italian cow’s milk cheese) with thick-cut applewood smoked bacon on toasted ciabatta, topped with creme fraiche, chives, and white truffle oil
  • The Grilled Cheez Guy: Grilled Cheese Ambassador and Apostle serving Grilled Cheese Nachos with Santipapas Salsa (Oakland local) & Mex Sour Crema
  • Grilled Cheese Bandits: “The Wild Dill” – Mild Danish Havarti with two kinds of turkey (oven smoked and honey roasted). All topped off with smoked bacon and homemade mild dill relish. All served between two delicious slices of organic batard bread.
  • Adam’s Grub Truck: Mac & Cheese and Corned Beef Hash Grilled Cheese
  • Bacon Bacon: Bacon Grilled Cheese with melted cheeses, bacon and bacon jam on Texas Toast
  • Lil Burma: Burmese Grilled Cheese
  • Euro Bistros: Brie, tomato and basil Grilled Cheese
  • Seoul of Taipei: Taiwanese Grilled Cheese
  • Me So Hungry: Grilled Cheese sliders with cheddar and/or pepper jack
  • Firetrail Pizza: Extra cheesy four cheese pizza
