National Parks Week
Sometimes you’ve just got get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy the serenity of a national park. On certain “fee-free” days throughout 2013 enjoy free entrance to all national parks including Muir Woods and Yosemite Park.
Yosemite park waves their usual $20 per car fee, and Muir Woods is allowing free entry and free parking.

- San Francisco Maritime – Always Free
- Sequoia-Kings Canyon $20, $10

Free Entrance Days in the National Parks | 2013
- January 21, 2013 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- April 22-26, 2013 for National Park Week
- August 25, 2013 for National Park Service Birthday
- September 28, 2013 for Public Lands Day
- November 9-11, 2013 for Veterans Day weekend
Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.
