Oakland A’s Tickets On Sale March 23
Just minutes after the big news today that the state of California updated the rules to allow stadiums to host fans earlier than expected, the Oakland A’s have announced that tickets for the 2021 season will be going on sale on March 23rd. Seats will likely be available in “pods” of two or four seats.
Oakland Athletics Opening Day at the Coliseum is April 1st vs. the Houston Astros. See the full 2021 schedule.
If Alameda County moves into red tier by opening day and the Oakland A’s remove their massive tarps could allow up to 11,189 fans (20% capacity) even if they are only in the red tier.
Please note the above capacity numbers are estimates based on publicly available capacity amounts and based on if Oakland were to remove their tarps to increase overall capacity.
“FlexTix” are currently available, but are vouchers which can be redeemed for games later in the season. But actual tickets for individual games won’t be on sale until March 23rd. There are still plenty of unknowns, including exactly what the capacity of the Oakland Coliseum will be, so expect more details soon.
The San Francisco Giants have not yet announced an on-sale date, but you can sign up for their email list to get notified first. Visit Oakland Athletics website for updates
