Many of the Oakland natives who grew up in Oakland, attended Oakland schools, and want to keep Oaklanders coming together to ensure a vibrant future for all.

Celebrate this beloved town and the arrival of summer with a day full of live performances and DJs on two stages of music, a Kid’s Town featuring virtual reality games and engaging activities for all ages, local libations, brews & bites and much more.
LakeFest Oakland is excited to welcome homegrown talent including live performances by legendary jazzy hip hop band, Alphabet Soup, Ajai Kasim with Oakland Future Trio, DJ Cecil, JAX, Rumbache, Sambafunk with Funkternal, Heat Dance Line, Young, Gifted & Black, Sistah Iminah and special surprise guests
