Dress up your pet and head to the annual Pet Pride Day featuring on site adoptions, rescue partners, parade, food, kids activities, pet costumes and pet tricks in Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park.

FREEThis is the San Francisco Animal Care & Control’s 21st year celebrating the fluffiest-tail-wagging-feathered-scaled-finned citizens and the people that love them. On site adoptions, rescue partners, a parade, food, kids activities, pet costumes and pet tricks… they have it all.
2014 Schedule
- 11 am to noon: Registration & Pet Costume Pre-judging
- Noon to 12:25 pm: San Francisco Police Department Mounted Unit
- 12:25-12:35 pm: Proclamation & Awards
- 12:35-12:55 pm: City Grazing Meet & Greet Working Animal Demo
- 1-1:20 pm: San Francisco Police Department – K9 Unit
- 1:20-1:30 pm: Super Dooper Pooper Scooper Kiddie Goodie Scramble by SFPUC
- 1:30-1:40 pm: Canine Freestyle – Come get your groove on with your dog at Pet Pride Day. Freestyle combines a variety of classic obedience moves like Heel and Sit-Stay with flashy tricks like jumps, weaves, and twirls all set to music. This is great training for your pooch and a workout for you too.

- 2:05-2:20 pm: Shelter Me Matchmaking
- 2:20-2:45 pm: Pet Costume Contest *
- 2:45-3 pm: Visit the Vendors
* Open only to dogs you have brought to the pre-judging area (next to the ACC tent) between 11 am to 2 pm.
