SF “Very Likely” To Extend Shelter-in-Place Beyond May 3
Thanks to SFGate letting us about Mayor Breed’s press conference on Friday.
San Francisco Mayor London Breed said in a press conference that the public health order to socially distance and shelter in place, currently set to expire May 3, is “very likely” to be extended.
According to the Mayor, It could be “another few weeks or even a month of asking you all to comply.”
As of Friday afternoon, San Francisco recorded 1,340 cases of COVID-19 with a total of 22 deaths. With the current numbers, we should ready ourselves and not expect it to be lifted as scheduled. For now, all we can do is comply and stay at home, help our community by preventing the virus from spreading.
