San Francisco’s well-loved “La Taqueria” in the Mission (on Mission between 24th and 25th) will be reopening for to-go orders on Wednesday, May 27th after a two month shutdown.

How awesome is La Taquiera? They won the title of “America’s Best Burrito” in a fivethirtyeight.com smackdown back in 2014.

Masks will be required for all customers and they plan on being open normal business hours.

Hours, according to Facebook, are 11am to 7:45pm. Their phone number is (415) 285-7117

Initially there will be a few modifications such as no more than 10 customers inside at a time, a new side window for pickups, a limited menu with no beef tongue or beef head, and agua frescas limited to strawberry, pineapple, horchata and Jamaica. They also will begin accepting credit cards for the first time.

Please note originally the article mistakenly said La Taqueria was opening “March 27” instead of “May 27” and has been corrected.
