The San Francisco Main Library’s annual holiday model train display chugs back onto the second floor, outside the Fisher Children’s Center through the holiday season.

FREEChildren (and adults who like choo choos) can watch beloved trains from their favorite storybooks run along the tracks and push buttons to power the trains and lights.

Exhibit Hours
- Sunday: Noon to 5 pm
- Monday: 10 am to 6 pm
- Tuesday: 9 am to 8 pm
- Wednesday: 9 am to 8 pm
- Thursday: 9 am to 8 pm
- Friday: Noon to 6 pm
- Saturday: Noon to 6 pm
