SF’s “House of Prime Rib” Feeds the Needy w/ 3,000 lbs. of Meat

A 27-year tradition continues with donations via Glide of prime rib and all the fixings

Thanks to the SF Gate for the uplifting news that even though SF’s classic “House of Prime Rib” is closed for indoor and outdoor dining, that they have continued their 27 year tradition of donating food to the needy through GLIDE.

Each year, House of Prime Rib donates a literal ton of beef along with sides like honey lemon broccoli, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls and eclairs.

Update: KTVU reports for 2020 that House of Prime Rib donated 3,000 lbs. of meat this year and made 1,600 meals.

House of Prime Rib is Open for Takeout on December 24th.
And if you’d like House of Prime Rib for the holidays, they are open for takeout on Christmas Eve from 2-8pm at 1906 Van Ness. houseofprimerib.net / (415) 885-4605 / Closed on Christmas Day.
