SF’s Huge 21-Foot “Pride” Banners Just Went Up at Civic Center
Although the Pride festival and parade have been canceled for 2020, that doesn’t mean Pride goes away in San Francisco The Asian Art Museum in Civic Center just put up their massive Pride banners on June 1st.
Normally they just go up for Pride week, but this year they’ll be up for the entire month of June. The banners are 21-feet tall (nearly 1 1/2 stories). This is the 8th year the Asian Art Museum has raised the banners
Loud & Proud 🏳️🌈Although SF Pride 2020 is cancelled, our virtual programs throughout the month of June celebrate the creativity, resilience, and tenacity of our LGBTQ. We are committed to making the museum a welcoming space for all and creating programming that fights racism, xenophobia, prejudice, and discrimination in all its forms
