Meet SF Giants “Fans” E-40, Tony Bennett & Metallica at Oracle Park
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and strict implementation of social distancing rules, SF Giants fans have to stay home and watch opening day at Oracle Park when the Giants host the San Diego Padres at 6:45pm on July 28th. In their place, seats will be filled up with large cardboard cutouts of the fans.
And one of them is the legendary singer Tony Bennett of, “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” fame
The 93-year-singer tweeted, “What a dream team we would have been! Honored to be sandwiched between Willie McCovey and Willie Mays for the @SFGiants opening day.”
Among other celebrities in the stands that your virtual cutout can sit next to are Metallica, Jerry Garcia, Jerry Rice, Bruce Lee, Joe Montana, Carlos Santana, Dean Martin, E-40, Huey Lewis, Chris Isaak and Renel Brooks-Moon and tons of Giants legends like Will Clark, Frank Robinson, Willie McCovey, Brian Wilson and tons more – See the full celebrity list.
Sit near a celebrity – A portion of the proceeds from cutouts purchased in the celebrity’s designated section will directly benefit their charity of choice
To create fun make-believe for this MLB season, fans have the opportunity to be in the ballpark with their own Giants fan cutouts; you may even sit close to a celebrity Giants fan. Want to have your cutout in the stands? Order by 7/29 and submit your photo by 7/30 to be in the ballpark by 8/14. Cutouts are $99.
