The U.S. women’s soccer team stunned Brazil and then dispatched France at the 2011 Women’s FIFA World Cup in Germany. Can the USA beat Japan in the finals for the 2011 World Cup championship?
Fresh off last summer’s World Cup Soccer broadcasts at Civic Center Plaza, the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department will host more free, family-friendly viewing parties, featuring the best of this month’s FIFA Women’s World Cup matches.

Each game day, participants will have the opportunity to watch the world’s best women soccer players compete on a large 13’x17′ screen. There will also be activities for kids, including mini-soccer games, giant inflatables and soccer skills challenges provided by the Recreation and Parks Department and America SCORES Bay Area.
And for when your stomach is growling from all that soccer frenzy, gourmet food trucks from Off-the-Grid will be on hand to cater your cravings.

Semifinals: Wednesday, July 13 at 9 a.m. & 11:45 a.m.
Final Match: Sunday, July 17 at 11:45 am.
