– Saturday, May 18 – 2pm + 6:30pm
– Sunday, May 19 – 6:30pmDuring a week-long series of double bills and site-specific work across ODC home and their local neighborhood in the Mission district, dip into the speculative future, consider biorhythms of the heart, and enjoy a playful appearance by a cast of canines. Park performances are free and open to the public.
In addition to catching the work of these artists onstage, you can also take a class with them during the festival artist takeover of the Hotspot at ODC School. Consider the intersection of art and technology and build your own heart rate monitor with ODC Theater Resident Artist Kinetech Arts before their premiere based on human biorhythms.
Enjoy the expansive nature of what dance can be as these works spill into a grassy park, a local guitar shop and into the speculative future.
Join this festival tradition in the heart of the Mission District potent with celebration, thought, curiosity, improvisation, deliberation, care, and, of course, dance.
