Event Details

A Philly transplant, Conrad Roth knows there’s a million comedy shows in The City. That’s why the “The Stand-up Variety Show” funnyman host strives for something different. About half the show is stand-up, the rest is sketch comedy, live music and (something new) the Debate, in which two seasoned comedians will formally debate a silly topic (ex: “Who would be a better roommate, Bill Clinton or Tiger Woods?“) It should be a bit of all-around fun plus it’s free and there’s good drink specials offered.

Lineup includes Joe Nguyen, Kurt Weitzmann, Sean Keane, Marty Regan and host Conrad Roth (who calls his brand of humour “things you don’t think you are supposed to laugh at,” which sounds good to us. Every month.

If you want to stick around, the art house Kurt & Kelly’s Jukebox features musical acts Drunk Horse and Hot Lunch, for a measly 5 bucks.
