SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025

The 2025 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with La Santa Cecilia to kick off its 25th Anniversary Season.

Fronted by the incandescent Berkeley-raised vocalist Kimiko Joy, “RUBaDUB Posse” is a testament to reggae’s enduring power, celebrating songs of love, liberation, unity and justice that have inspired people across the globe.

Encompassing classic tunes from the rocksteady, roots and dub eras all the way to dancehall and contemporary reggae, the RUBaDUB’z repertoire ranges from Bob Marley and the Wailers, Steel Pulse and Gregory Isaacs to Marcia Aitken, Barrington Levy, Sister Nancy, Peter Tosh and Sade, to name a few.

The Posse features a stellar cast who’ve played with many of reggae’s greatest figures, including bassist Waddell Bell, keyboardist Joe Bressler, guitarist Vince Black, drummer Darian Gray and percussionist Mario Vela.
