Event Details

Textile Arts Council presents a talk by Cristin McKnight Sethi, who will discuss the new exhibition Handmade: Creating Textiles in South Asia on view at the George Washington University Museum / The Textile Museum in Washington, DC. The exhibition brings together several historical objects from South Asia in The Textile Museum Collection alongside contemporary textiles made by artisans and cooperatives working in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan.
