Cyberpunk Cinema Night | Mission Dist.

Hardware (1990)

A self-repairing Mark 13 robot is salvaged from the irradiated Zone and installed in a trash artist’s urban controlled compound. It quickly gets dark, stark and half-lit hardcore with this scan line infested cyber-horror thriller.

Hardware was directed by esoteric visionary Richard Stanley and originates from the same 2000 AD comic as Judge Dredd.

Featuring Lemmy listening to Motorhead, Iggy Pop as radio jockey, Gwar performing to Ministry, Robot Dylan McDermot, Stacey Travis (before she was Buscemi’s Ghostworld girlfriend) and a terrifying alchemy of metal.
