Join us for Raíces Ancestrales (Ancestral Roots), Loco Bloco’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration honoring the spirits, stories, and rhythms that connect us across generations. Through soulful and vibrant performances, Loco Bloco and Cuicacalli Dance Company bring together Afro-Latino and Mexican music, dance, and ritual – in a powerful offering of remembrance and joy – a reflection of the living traditions that pulse through the Mission District.
Altars in the Brava lobby – 11am – 4pm
Danza Xitlalli Blessing in front of Brava – 4pm
Theater Stage Show by Loco Bloco and Cuicacalli – 5pm – 6:30pm ($10 admission)
Procession from Brava to Community Altars at Potrero del Sol – 7pm – 8pm
