On Friday, November 1st, Evergreen Village Square will host its inaugural Dia de los Muertos celebration presented by Councilmember Domingo Candelas. Starting at 5:30 PM, this free, family-friendly event invites the San Jose community to come together in remembrance and celebration of loved ones who have passed.
The evening will include vibrant traditions that bring Dia de los Muertos to life, including:

A captivating Aztec performance by Calpulli Ocelocihuatl at 6 PM,

Complimentary face painting by VE Art Studio from 6 to 7 PM

A free screening of Disney’s Coco at 6:30 PM

Delicious treats and educational activities celebrating the heritage of Dia de los Muertos.
