Event Details

The Stanford Robotics Club is organizing and hosting a Drone Games sponsored hackathon at Stanford University on April 6, 2013 to kickoff National Robotics Week.

Free, but RSVP is required.

The competition is part of their initiative to promote robotics as a fun and accessible field, provide hands-on experience and showcase the cleverness and technical competence of the Stanford community. Christian Sanz, ‏creator of Drone Games and founder of Skycatch, will be the special guest at the event.

Drone Games is a NodeCopter-Style programming competition powered by drones and JavaScript. Hackers will receive one Parrot AR Drone 2.0, so they can work on their project. On the day of the event, hackers will get a chance to present their work to other attendees and judges.
