East Oakland Futures Fest is an Afrofuturist-themed Block Party and Festival celebrating the community as it exists now, while envisioning & creating a thriving Black future.
There will be 8 Zones to visit: Afrofutures, Building Prosperity, Health & Healing, Transportation & Mobility, Arts & Culture, Education, Food Sovereignty, Power in Place.
There will also be local community groups and organizations, along with food trucks, vendors and performers showcasing their art, food, tech, innovation and joy.
Tickets are Free!
When: Saturday, June 8, 2024, 11am – 6pm
Where: Along 90th Ave, from Holly St to Birch St, Oakland CA
Who: Open to all people and ages, and most importantly Deep East Oakland residents!
