Celebrate the time of balance, the time of harvest, and thanks at the Fall Equinox ritual with the local pagan group, Reclaiming Bay Area, on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
Last 2018, there was a $10-25 sliding scale suggested donation (with children under 12 free and no one turned away for lack of funds.) We expect to be the same this year.
Please bring food and/or non-alcohol drinks to share at the post-ritual feast. Flowers and altar items are also welcome. This ritual and site are kid-friendly.
This is a pagan ritual, a time of reflection and celebration and not a crazy, drunk party. Please be mindful of this when attending the event. Also, plant-based food is highly encouraged but all offerings of food are welcomed. Please label your food and ingredients out of consideration for community members with allergies/sensitivities or who don’t eat animal products. Tape/labels to affix to your dish will be provided in case forgotten.
Please note that we’ve confirmed the 2019 date, but event details are still not available. For an idea of what to expect, here’s what happened in 2018.
Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
